Downshift April 2017

It was that time of the month again, it was time to clean up the ride and get it down to the Downshift meet. This one was meant to be the first Gold Coast based meet and was meant to be on the Saturday, but due to some late notice incidents it was changed to Sunday and the venue moved up Brisbane way. However this change worked in my favor, allowing me to make it to this event. All in all it was a good day out and there was quite a few cars out for the day. Myself and a few of the boys had a little pre-meet at the Coomera Masters before heading up to the meet. As per usual the Dyno attracted a lot of attention and power with some great numbers being produced. But still there was tons of super nice cars there. The engine work on a fair few of them were tremendous, plus getting to see some of your dream cars always makes one just that little bit happy, in my case, seeing a few super nice V-Spec R34 GTRs did make my day. Something to aspire to and work towards. But there was definitely something there for everyone, from the super slammed, to the super-car. Old, or young, JDM or muscle it was a great day out.
